Organised by International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and hosted by Norwegian Space Agency (NOSA), the Global Space Conference On Climate Change 2023 entitled ‘Fire and Ice – Space for Climate Action’ will take place in Oslo, Norway between 23rd - 25th May 2023.
This conference will focus on promoting international development and the exchange of knowledge on topics directly related to climate change in the context of space-based applications and services. This international event will provide opportunities for discussion and collaboration with senior representatives of significant space agencies, industries, governments, policymakers, academia, non-space sectors involved in climate change, and NGOs.
GLOC 2023 is aimed at bringing together experts for the purposes of sharing information on programmatic, technical and policy information, collaborative solutions, challenges, lessons learnt, and future global roadmaps among all nations.
