The American Geophysical Union (AGU) is accepting abstracts for the AGU Fall Meeting 2022

Location: Chicago, Illinois/Virtual

The American Geophysical Union (AGU) will host the AGU Fall Meeting 2022, entitled ‘OS020 - Realizing the full potential of open-source ocean data for scientific and socio-economic (re)use’. The meeting will take place from 12-16 December 2022 in Chicago, Illinois, with virtual access for those who are unable to attend in person.

The session will focus on the use of data in scientific, governmental, public, private industries, and new Blue Economy businesses. This meeting aims to address and understand how governmental, environmental, and science agencies use their data and how we can predict socio-economic and ocean health issues. The meeting will accept theoretical, modelling, and observation-based studies of costs, value, and benefits of open ocean data (re)use and government-public-private partnerships.

Deadline for abstract submission: 3rd August 2022
