Restore our Oceans and Waters - webinar

Organised by the Netherlands Space Office NSO and dotSPACE, the webinar titled ‘Restore our Oceans and Waters’ will take place virtually on 13th September 2022.

The topic of focus will be ‘water quality monitoring from space, and how it can assist water authorities, bathing water managers, fish farmers and shellfish farmers'. This webinar aims to present new funding calls from Horizon Europe and other related sources, such as the European Defense Fund (EDF) and the European Space Agency. These calls have been selected due to their collaboration with space data, space technology, and space applications.

Steef Peters, scientific director of Water Insight, will open the meeting and contribute his expertise as a coordinator of EU projects. EU projects which will be discussed are; CoastObs project, EOMORES, e-shape project, TAPAS, and AQUA-USERS.
