Build-IT 2023 Workshop

Organized by Istituto per le Applicazioni del Calcolo "Mauro Picone," the BUILD-IT 2023 workshop titled "BUILding a DIgital Twin: Requirements, Methods, and Applications" will take place in Rome, Italy, from October 19, 2023, to October 20, 2023. The workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners working on digital twins to share their ideas, experiences, and challenges. The topics and objectives of the workshop include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Computational design
• Data fusion and assimilation
• IT platforms and data management
• Machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Modeling and simulation
• Optimization and advanced control
• Sensors and communication systems
• Inverse problems, statistical analysis, and uncertainty quantification
• Geometric modelling and semantic annotation
• Virtual and augmented reality

Iliad participation

Ute Brönner, Senior Project Manager at SINTEF Ocean, will be a keynote speaker at the workshop. She will elaborate on Iliad and Digital Twins of the Ocean, with the objective of fostering a sustainable blue economy in a protected marine environment.
